Merchant Account

As an independent merchant account liaison, I am authorized to work with multiple merchant account providers since not every provider will accept all merchants.

Here are some issues they look at:

Pre-Application
After you contact me and we discuss your needs, I will email you a pre-application.  Fill it out and return to me via email attachment or FAX.

Current Merchant Account Statements
 If you currently have a merchant account, send me copies of your latest 3 statements
  (full version with your business name, transactions, and pricing)

Review with Provider
Once I receive your pre-application (and current merchant account statements), I will review the information with a provider. If the provider gives the go ahead, I will prepare an application and send it to you, along with a checklist of additional required documentation. If not, then I approach another provider.

Review Application
After you complete and return the application, the underwriter will review it. If they require additional information, I will contact you.

Approval and Account Setup
Once your account is approved, you will be emailed your merchant identification number (MID). 
- If you have need a physical swipe terminal, it will be shipped. 
- If you need an e-commerce gateway, your configuration will be setup and confirmed via email.

eCommerce Website Requirements

In order to help reduce chargebacks and fraud, VISA and MasterCard, along with merchant acccount processors and providers require that eCommerce websites contain specific information shown below.

In addition, you must successfuly complete the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Self-Assessment.

Example Refund/Cancellation Policy

Example Return Policy
If you are dissatisfied for any reason you may return any unused merchandise to (business name) within 30 days Of purchase for a full refund. Products kept for over 30 days without a return request are considered final. Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Products being returned must be in NEW condition and in the original factory packaging. (Some) products have a restocking fee of 15% and will require the purchaser to ship the items to (business name) at the customer’s expense. Ali items are shipped USPS Priority Mail (unless requested otherwise by cardholder) within 48 hours of your purchase. In the event that an item is out of stocks or backordered, we will not bill your credit card until the item is shipped to you. We do not ship over the weekend.
